Oh thank you, this is glorious. I love how twisted up about this whole thing Karkat is, so much that he has to force himself to eat. And I really like the implied role-reversal in Sollux telling Karkat to eat.
Is he so torn up and self-hating about this because he knows it's rape, or just because he was so weirded out by the way Dualscar went under?
Love the way Karkat describes Eridan and how he recognises that it would hurt him if he didn't keep his promise.
I really liked the implied - no outright stated - decadence in the description of the pleasure suite, and I think it was good for Karkat to see the breeders interacting with each other without him there to capture their attention. And I'm glad that he recognises just how much his presence changes things.
Dualscar...yes, he did start with Dualscar because he's big and scary, didn't he? A general's name, a smile that makes Karkat almost forget how helpless Dualscar is against him, three hundred sweeps on him gigantism...
Loved how grateful Eridan is to have Karkat's attention, how conditioned he is to want a master. And it's good that Karkat recognises his desperation and need. Kind of him to offer some comfort and privacy, although I do wonder if this apparent favouritism is going to cause problems. Then he compounds it by allowing Eridan to use his name.
Is Eridan stupid enough to boast about this to his dam, or will he just hold it as his secret to reassure himself when he feels insecure about how much Dualscar outclasses him in everything he's been taught defines his value?
Interesting to see that Karkat believes Sollux would think his nascent pity for Eridan makes Eridan dangerous - or is that Karkat's opinion that he's ashamed of? Karkat's noticing the blunted teeth, does the mutilation bother him or is it just unexpected? And it's revealing that he thinks undressing would make him vulnerable, without considering just how incredibly vulnerable Eridan and every other breeder is. Although at least he notices Eridan's nervousness bordering on terror and this is Eridan's firt time doing anything really.
Re: "a jewel in the scarlet crown," Karkat/Eridan, Karkat/Dualscar, slavery, forced breeding, 5/?
